What is an energy audit?

We’ll use a state-of-the-art infrared device to produce an image that will show you where your home is losing heat. The picture will be color coded to make it easy to spot inefficiencies. It’s a great way to help you prioritize your spending to reduce utility costs.

Is it really free and  what’s the gimmick?

Yes the audit is completely free. Our expert will show you the image produced by the infrared camera. If your home is energy efficient and everything’s good, that’s all there is to it. If problems are found our expert will make recommendations about how they can be fixed. The recommendations may be as simple as weather stripping or calking specific areas. If the needs are bigger, windows, doors,or insulation for example, we’ll let you know how we can help. Of course, we want you to buy your supplies from us, but there is no obligation to do so.
